Privacy policy
ZIV connector · last updated 16 October 2026
What this covers
This policy covers the ZIV connector (the server at this address) that lets AI assistants such as Claude, ChatGPT and Meta Muse add words to your ZIV account. The ZIV app itself is covered by the policy at ziv-tutor.app.
What we handle
- Your ZIV sign-in. You enter your ZIV email and password on our sign-in page. They are passed straight to the ZIV service to sign you in and are not stored by the connector.
- Access tokens. After you sign in, the connector gives the assistant an encrypted access token. It lets the assistant act on your ZIV account only for what the connector offers (adding words). The connector keeps no database of tokens or users.
- Words you ask to add. The word and translation sent by the assistant are saved in your ZIV word list, the same as if you added them in the app. Words without a translation are translated by ZIV’s translation service.
- Technical logs. Our hosting provider keeps standard request logs (time, path, status code, IP address). Failed requests may log request details to help us fix problems. Logs are used only to run and secure the service.
What we don’t do
- We don’t sell your data or use it for advertising.
- The connector only adds words. It cannot read, edit or delete your existing words or any other data in your ZIV account.
The AI assistant you use
The assistant (Claude, ChatGPT, Meta Muse or another) receives the results of the connector’s calls — for example “added word X”. How it uses that information is governed by that company’s own policies. Please review them.
Disconnecting and deleting data
Disconnect the connector in your assistant’s settings at any time; its access token then stops being used and expires. To delete words, use the ZIV app. To delete your ZIV account and its data, contact support@ziv-tutor.app.
