ZIV connector
Add words to your ZIV vocabulary from Claude, ChatGPT, Meta Muse and other AI assistants.
What it does
ZIV helps Russian speakers learn English. This connector lets an AI assistant save a word to your own ZIV word list. Say “add ephemeral to ZIV” and the word appears in the app, translated, ready to practise. If the word is already in your list, the assistant tells you and nothing is changed.
Tools
add_word— adds a word or phrase (optionally with a translation written by the assistant) to your ZIV list. Without one, ZIV writes it in the same format as words added in the app. It never edits or deletes existing words.
How to connect
- In your assistant, add a custom connector with this server URL:
https://mcp.ziv-tutor.app/mcp(it uses OAuth 2.0). - Sign in with your ZIV account (the same email and password as in the app) and allow access.
- Ask the assistant to add a word.
Meta Muse: in the chat, ask Muse to connect a custom connector for this host with OAuth 2.0 and the action POST /api/words with {"word": "...", "translation": "..."}.
You can disconnect at any time in your assistant’s connector settings. You need a ZIV account; get the app at ziv-tutor.app.
